The online application for the new parental leave allowance was activated from today, Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After submitting the application and posting it to P.S. OBTAINING the special \"Parental Leave\" form from the employer, the OAED will pay the allowance to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. From today, the special \"Parental Leave\" form will be available at the P.S. ERGANI for its completion by employers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Payments will appear on accounts within 3 business days of payment. There is no reason to attend the Employment Promotion Centers (KPA2) of the OAED.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is pointed out that all applications that were already submitted to KPA2, in the period before the start of the online application, do not need to be submitted again electronically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The KPA2 will process the applications that included a certificate or a responsible statement from the employer for the granting of parental leave, while for the applications that did not include corresponding certificates or responsible statements, the special \"Parental Leave\" forms will be sought ex officio from the KPA2 through the P .S. ERGANI if they have been posted by the employer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is recalled that parental leave of 4 months is granted continuously or in parts for both parents with a benefit from the OAED for the first two months, equal to the minimum wage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The only condition is that the employee has been employed by the same employer for 1 year. If there are more children, the parents have the right to take leave for them as well, as long as one year of actual employment with the same employer has elapsed since the end of the leave given for the previous child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As an exception, parents of twins, triplets or more multiple children are entitled to receive parental leave for each child separately, intermittently or even continuously, without a year of actual service intervening. In case of adoption or fostering of a child up to 8 years of age, the permit is granted when the child joins the family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
