Parental leave is 4 months for mother and father. The new element is that the allowance is equal to the minimum wage for two months, so beneficiaries will be paid two minimum wages.
The child must be up to 8 years of age and the leave can be part-time or continuous.
Criterion
A basic condition for the granting of parental leave is working with the same employer for one year, which can be with an open-ended or fixed-term contract. If there is a second child, a year of additional work must be provided before a new permit can be granted for the second child.
When there are twin children, double the license is granted.
